Bystander Intervention
Social safety during and around night-time hours is more relevant and important than ever.
Working together for a safe night in Tilburg
Because social safety in and around nightlife is more relevant and important than ever, 013 is taking responsibility in this area. Together with Feniks, they are organising a number of free Bystander Intervention training courses. This way, we can contribute to an inclusive and welcoming nightlife together.
During this interactive training, participants will learn:
- what constitutes sexually transgressive behaviour and how to recognise it;
- how gender norms and stereotypes contribute to transgressive behaviour and gender-related violence;
- why it is so important to intervene and what role men can play as part of the solution;
- how you, as a bystander, can intervene effectively using the 5Ds.
The training sessions are open to everyone, from 013 staff and volunteers to visitors. You can reserve a place by getting a free ticket from the ticket shop.
PLEASE NOTE: There is room for a maximum of 50 participants per training session.
