In 2022, Mark Foster unexpectedly found new inspiration during a trip to London. An impromptu visit to The Church, producer Paul Epworth's studio, that same day resulted in the title track of their fourth album: Paradise State of Mind (2024). The album, inspired by the disco, funk and synthpop of the '70s and '80s, was recorded analog in legendary studios and exudes a danceable, layered energy. With the single Lost in Space and themes of hope, healing and rejecting cynicism, it ushers in a new chapter for the band - warm, sincere and irresistibly rhythmic.
