Gio celebrates twenty years of music with a romantic show at 013.
From R&B classics to danceable pop
Twenty years after his debut album First, Gio will be performing as a solo headliner at 013 on Valentine's Day, a special milestone following a sold-out show at Paradiso. The singer moves effortlessly between R&B and pop and, early in his career, opened for international greats such as Destiny's Child, Mary J. Blige and the Pussycat Dolls. With hits such as “Bonnie & Clyde” and “Ik Denk Aan Jou”, Gio has managed to reach a wide audience, both on record and live. Over the years, he has collaborated with The Partysquad and top producer Giorgio Tuinfort, known for his work with artists such as Ariana Grande and David Guetta. In addition to his smooth R&B sound, Gio is also at home with club bangers, with songs such as “Omlaag”, “Salut” and “Work Voor Mij”. At 013, he will perform a show with a live band that combines new work and beloved classics, promising a romantic evening with plenty of dancing.
