The Gypsy Festival Tilburg in Bosvreugd is back and thriving! On August 23, you can enjoy the 11th edition of the gypsy festival.

About the festival

It had been a while. Five years ago (2019) to be precise, was the ninth edition of our altruistic gypsy festival, organized by Sinti guitarist David Niglo Grünholz without any contribution or assistance from municipal subsidies or sponsors. The festival is the result of his musical folklore background in the Sinti community. The journey, the campfire, being together. Inspired and moved by the sounds of the strings and the old, aged wood of the gypsy guitars. The heart, the joy, and the pain fused together in harmony in a song of tradition and virtuoso improvisation.

Back again

Unfortunately, the annual music festival was disrupted by COVID-19. But last year we made a successful comeback! We are moving forward and inviting everyone to the 11th edition of our gypsy festival at the familiar festival site at Bosvreugd, Reeshofdijk 12 in Tilburg.
