For the seventh year in a row, Tilburg is the setting for Cape Town Festival. From 16 to 18 August, the city centre transforms into a vibrant stage for art installations, performances, city hacks and art take overs.
Cape Town Festival 2024 brings hundreds of melting ice figures to Tilburg as anti-monument
. Art in public space festival Cape Town unveils programme of firsts, exclusive installations and artist in residence. For three days, artists hijack buildings, people and objects and show that if you play with the city's building blocks, a softer, sweeter and funnier world emerges. With imagination, the free festival loosens the public order, giving room for a little public disorder. The festival takes place at various locations in downtown Tilburg and is free to visit.
