Kaapstad 2026
Once again this year, Tilburg will be the setting for the free art festival Kaapstad. From August 21 to 23, the city center will transform into a lively stage for art installations, performances, city hacks and art take-overs.
For three days, artists hijack buildings, people and objects and show that if you play with the city's building blocks, a softer, sweeter and funnier world emerges. With imagination, the free festival wrings public order loose, giving room for a little public disorder. The festival takes place at various locations in downtown Tilburg and is free to attend.
