On 17 May 2025, Tilburg's Spoorzone will transform into a place full of literary imagination. Tilt Festival, the biggest literary festival in the south, presents a programme that brings together well-known names, up-and-coming talent and surprising crossovers.
Explore the literary imagination
Tilt Festival is the place for anyone who likes to explore, experiment, venture off the beaten track and is open to questioning their own thinking. From the opening performance with Adriaan van Dis to a Literary Darkroom and interviews with various creators. And also: a special Tilt edition of the literary magazine De Titaan. The first names? Thomas Heerma van Voss, Sholeh Rezazadeh, Leonieke Baerwaldt, Teddy Tops, city poet Frederike Luijten and, of course, Adriaan van Dis himself.

The South's literary production house
Tilt is much more than the festival. This literary production house is a home for writers and audiences, together in a creative world of word, sound and performance. Here, literature takes on new forms and unexpected stages. Tilt is there for creators who want to experiment, find their voice and make themselves heard. Together with various partners, the view of what literature can be is broadened. Tilt opens doors to stories that matter.
