Since his first public performance at the age of eleven, Wibi Soerjadi has built an impressive career. To mark his 45th anniversary as a concert pianist, he is giving a special anniversary concert.
A promising career
Wibi Soerjadi is one of the world’s most renowned concert pianists. Throughout his career, he has received countless prestigious awards and performed in leading concert halls around the world. His debut at Carnegie Hall was recorded live and went platinum. He has also performed with renowned orchestras, including the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Gewandhaus Orchestra Leipzig. His recordings have also been a great success: all of his CDs and DVDs have achieved gold or platinum status, an exceptional achievement in the world of classical music.
Schedule of the Anniversary Concert
The anniversary concert consists of two parts. In the first part, Wibi Soerjadi looks back on his impressive career with a personal selection of compositions that have played an important role in his artistic development and musical highlights.
After the break, the focus shifts to film music. With his distinctive, highly acclaimed arrangements, Soerjadi pays tribute to the music from well-known and beloved films and demonstrates how these compositions have inspired him over the years.
