Wilhelminapark Viert De Zomer 2025
From 6 to 17 August, Tilburg's Wilhelminapark will once again transform into a vibrant oasis of music, creativity, good food and endless summer fun. Wilhelminapark Viert De Zomer (WVDZ) celebrates its sixth edition this year - and does so just a touch bigger than the year before.
From 6 to 17 August, Tilburg's Wilhelminapark will once again transform into a vibrant oasis of music, creativity, good food and endless summer fun. Wilhelminapark Viert De Zomer (WVDZ) celebrates its sixth edition this year - and does so just a touch bigger than the year before. This free and easily accessible festival started as a neighbourhood initiative, but has since grown into a favourite summer event for young and old, from the neighbourhood but also from beyond.
Two stages
For the first time in the festival's history, there will be two stages as well as two taps, expanding the musical offerings considerably. Expect more bands, DJs and live acts than in previous years; from local heroes to surprising acts from outside the (city) borders.
Be surprised
There is plenty to do during WVDZ. Browse the Funky Market with more than 30 stalls, discover the record market, shop sustainable outfits at the vintage clothing market (Loved and Found) or taste special beers at the special beer market. Creative minds can go wild at workshops for young and old: welding, painting, mosaics, felting and much more. For children, it is one big play paradise with a mini library, shuffleboard area, bouncy castle and lots of other activities. On the last weekend (16 & 17 August), there is Willie Willie: an extra festival full of art installations, theatre, children's activities and, as a finale, a film by Pop-Up Cinema. Adults need not be bored either: join the kubb tournament or the boules competition. And of course, there will be plenty of goodies. From fresh chips and pizza to surprising Polish dishes - you will find everything in the park. Come as you are, enjoy and be surprised.
