The restaurant Giardino d’Italia is located in a former tennis court, which has since been transformed into a green experimental garden featuring a vegetable garden, an orchard, and a terrace. Much of what ends up on your plate comes from the restaurant’s own garden or from the local region.

Pizza from the wood-fired oven, fresh pasta, and homemade products like limoncello, honey, and jam: at Giardino, a lot is made in-house. Since 2013, the garden has continued to grow every year. Everything is maintained organically and by hand, and what grows there increasingly finds its way into the kitchen. That way, the seasons aren’t just reflected in the garden—they also make their way onto your plate. And amid all that greenery, there’s room for more than just food: from concerts and workshops to parties, get-togethers, and long evenings around the table.
