Right behind Tilburg station is an imposing building: the LocHal. This used to be used as a locomotive hall. Now it has been converted into the city's new living room. This is where Tilburg comes together, where people learn and are inspired.
Everything under one roof
The LocHal is a hub for all sorts of activities. It houses a library, flexible workspaces and various labs. Exhibitions, talks and other events are held there regularly. In the exhibition space at Kunstloc Brabant, you can view work by emerging artists. CAST focuses on developments in the city and the region. It’s also a great venue for meetings and events, such as those organised by Seats2meet.
Industrial with character
The LocHal’s past is still clearly evident. The steel structure, large tables and other details are a nod to the former NS workshop. At the same time, the large textile installations from the Textile Museum lend the space a warm atmosphere.
