A touch of Spain in the heart of Tilburg
TUBO was founded by Frodo Stijnen and Job van Hooff, two familiar faces in the Tilburg hospitality industry. They got to know each other at tapas restaurant Bargús, and there not only a friendship arose, but also the idea for a new business. Frodo, who spent a lot of time in Spain and had long dreamed of having his own tapas bar, wanted to create a place that felt like a lively Spanish bar. Together they made that dream come true.
More than just tapas
What makes TUBO special is its relaxed atmosphere without fuss. The interior is colorful and warm, with a clear nod to Spain. Inside and on the terrace, you can sit comfortably, overlooking the street or just nice and sheltered.
The menu is filled with surprising tapas: classics with a twist, inspired by cuisine from San Sebastian to Seville. Think Jamón Ibérico, tender Ibérico Presa, and other small dishes perfect for sharing. The wine list is also Spanish-inspired, with a fine selection of fresh wines and other drink-friendly drinks.
