After years of silence, Kylesa is back. During their reunion show at the Roadburn Festival in 2025, the band proved that their intensity hasn’t waned one bit. Now, the progressive sludge and stoner pioneers from Georgia are returning to Tilburg for an exclusive club show at the Next.

A distinctive sound

Centered around guitarists and vocalists Laura Pleasants and Phillip Cope, Kylesa has developed a distinctive sound over the years, featuring layered guitars, double-pedal drumming, and compelling songs that feel both raw and hypnotic. With albums like *Static Tensions* and *Spiral Shadow*, the band has become a respected name in the heavy underground scene.

About this show

For this series of shows, Kylesa will be joined by Roy Mayorga (known for his work with Ministry and Stone Sour, among others) and John Joseph Jesse of Nausea. Since the band tours only sporadically, this show in Tilburg is a unique opportunity to see Kylesa perform live once again.
The opening act will be Modder, a five-piece sludge and doom band that combines heavy riffs with thumping bass lines, groovy drums, industrial samples, and synthesizers. With this sound, they create their own powerful atmosphere within the sludge scene.
