A joint exhibition by visual artist Mark van den Heuvel and photographer Bart Smulders will be on display at Galerie de Roos from 3 to 25 October.
Twee kunstenaars, één gedeeld verleden
Two artists, both with a shared background as furniture makers, find common ground in the tranquillity, rhythm and power of the material. Mark designs his own world using wood in combination with old objects and materials. Bart transforms the world into timeless, graphic works of art. Experience how Mark’s tactile sculptures blend with the graphic abstraction of Bart’s photography. A world where craftsmanship and free form converge. The exhibition opens on Saturday 3 October and runs until Sunday 25 October. The gallery is open on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 2 pm to 5 pm.
