Two raw doers they are, but also perhaps the best blues musicians walking this globe at the moment. It has now been 9 years since Ian Siegal gave his legendary ultra long concert at Heyhoef-Backstage and provided an unforgettable night for many. So it's about time to follow that up. Especially in this anniversary year where miraculous concerts are presented every time. So certainly with this phenomenal event!!! Two great blues icons bundled with a new project and accompanying tour are coming to the Reeshof! And how....!!!

Ian Siegal and Johnny Mastro were both signed to the Nugene Label years ago, which is how they first met. Siegal, born in Portsmouth, England, “one of the most gifted singers and writers in contemporary blues.” Ian has built a reputation as a soulful, stylistically flexible artist.

New Orleans-born harmonica man Johnny Mastro with always a propulsive, original, loose and dangerous sound, pushing the music to its limits. “it could hardly be rougher, dirtier or rougher”.

Both men came together for a fantastic rough and tumble session, recorded live in New Orleans. Ian Siegal's whiskey-soaked voice and guitar fit perfectly with one of the rawest approaches in the world. Title of the album and tour: EASY TIGER! Meet this unique duo at Heyhoef-Backstage!!!

Support-act Doctor Velvet will be the sensation at Dutch Festivals this year. An Amsterdam rock 'n roll sensation. These young guys bring a steaming atmosphere, brewing a mixture of The Sonics, a hair of Little Richard, a touch of boogaloo and above all a good dose of rhythm 'n blues!
