Vintage and upcycling are becoming increasingly popular and there is more and more awareness of fast fashion. In Tilburg, we are therefore only too happy to contribute to this.

In September, Tilburg is all about ‘Refashion’

After a very successful debut last year, Tilburg's city center will once again transform into a paradise for lovers of sustainable, vintage fashion, and upcycling in September. In a world inundated with fast fashion, Tilburg is opting for slow, stylish, and smart in September. Refashion Month is not just a clothing month; it is a statement. Here, fashion is given multiple lives and meaning. Everything revolves around conscious, local purchasing, reuse, and upcycling of clothing and accessories.

When and where?

September 6 – Opening of FREE Fashion Kids Store (Emmapassage) + performance by Zwermers.
Every Saturday & Sunday – Free creative upcycling workshops in Tilburg Pop-up Park (Pieter Vreedeplein) + FREE Fashion clothing exchange racks.
Ongoing – Re-where route: discover shops for second-hand, repair & upcycling, and donate clothing yourself.
September 27 – Glamourday Refashioned Edition: sustainable fashion & beauty, styling and color advice (Pieter Vreedeplein & Emmapassage).
