Time Machine - HNTjong & Theater Utrecht
The school party turns into a tragedy when a fight suddenly breaks out and a student is stabbed. What exactly happened? In 'Time Machine', you step into a high school where time can be paused and rewound. Who is the victim, and who did it?
Violence among youth
As an audience member, you’re right in the middle of the crime scene, seated in bleachers facing each other on the stage of the Schouwburg. Through flashbacks, you discover what happened at the school party. Students and teachers all have their own stories, secrets, and desires. But who is telling the truth? And can the perpetrator be tracked down?
'Time Machine' explores young people’s growing need to protect themselves—and the consequences when a weapon becomes part of that protection. A gripping performance about choices, secrets, and the fine line between life and death.
