On Carnival Saturday, Tilburg will once again be dominated by the Kruikenloop, a sporting tradition in Kruikenstad for young and old alike.
Running on Carnival Saturday
On Saturday, 14 February 2026, at 11:11 a.m., the starting shot will be fired for this running tradition in Kruikenstad, which has been part of the Tilburg carnival for years. The run is often used as a stopover on the way to D'n Inhaol van de Stadsprins.
Participants can choose from distances of 15, 10 or 5 kilometres. For young people, there is a special 1111-metre run. In addition to a prize for the fastest runner, there is also a prize for the best costume.
When: Saturday 14 February, 11:11 a.m. (5, 10 and 15 km), 11:15 a.m. youth run
