From 13 September 2025, De Pont Museum in Tilburg will present the Dutch premiere of This youiiyou (2023), a live work by Tino Sehgal. The German-Indian artist, known for his innovative focus on physical presence, interaction and social dynamics, enjoys worldwide fame.

Connectedness

In This youiiyou by Tino Sehgal, a choreography of voice, rhythm and body language unfolds around the connection between generations. The intimate work, performed by a group of participants, offers a sensory and emotionally charged experience. Sehgal, trained in choreography and political economy, has developed a practice that stretches the boundaries of visual art. What remains is the memory of an intimate, temporary encounter. This youiiyou can be seen daily for five months in the museum's main hall, where visitors are invited to engage in a tranquil form of viewing and reflection.
